The Irish Times has published a full obituary for former solicitor and Armagh footballer John McKnight, who passed away at the age of 84.
The UCD graduate was a celebrated footballer at both a minor and senior level, the obituary recalls.
Mr McKnight passed away in July and was buried on Omey Island.
He is survived by his wife Ita, sons Paul, Johnny, Fergal and James, daughters Catherine, Mairéad, Deirdre, Brona and Orla, sisters Bridie and Mary, and brothers James and Felix.
