Alternative legal solutions provider Johnson Hana has announced the appointment of Sinead Garnett as director of legal operations and solutions.
A qualified solicitor, Ms Garnett trained and practised as a corporate associate at Maples and Calder before moving into the legal technology sector, most recently as director of legal operations at Brightflag.
As director of legal operations and solutions, she will help the company tailor its services to suit clients’ requirements.
Dan Fox, founder and CEO of Johnson Hana, said: “We couldn’t be happier to have Sinead join us at this pivotal point of the company’s growth.
“Legal operations as a discipline can bring such incredible value to legal departments of all shapes and sizes. Be it the strategic prioritisation of work, resource management or technology deployment, there are huge opportunities to transform legal operations for the better.
“Sinead is the ideal person to partner with our clients to bring global best practice to the Irish market.”
Emer Durkan, managing director of legal solutions, said: “Sinead’s experience, with a decade in private practice as well as working for a legal technology company, positions her perfectly to contribute in a meaningful way to our client offerings.
“She knows what our clients are looking for, and will be able to help us to build the services they need. Put simply, she understands. And that’s why we’re so delighted she is joining Johnson Hana.”
Commenting on her appointment, Ms Garnett added: “I feel that I am joining Johnson Hana at a very exciting time. We’ve seen the rapid growth of alternative legal solutions in the US and UK, and to be at the forefront of that in Ireland is fantastic.”
