Judge Anne Marshall appointed to NI judicial appointments body
Judge Anne Marshall has been appointed to serve on the Northern Ireland Judicial Appointments Commission (NIJAC).
She will serve as one of the five judicial members of the 12-member commission for a five-year term until 10 March 2029.
Judge Marshall was appointed as a district judge in the magistrates’ courts in June 2022, having sat as a deputy district judge since 2013.
A solicitor by profession, she previously practised for 11 years in a Belfast firm specialising in criminal and human rights law. She was also a senior solicitor in the Children’s Law Centre.
