NI: Justice Committee meets in Law Society House
The Northern Ireland Assembly’s Justice Committee held its regularly scheduled meeting in Law Society House yesterday.
Members worked through a packed agenda, which included an update on the scoping study of children in the justice system and the implementation of the Access to Justice Review recommendations.
John Guerin, the president of the Law Society of Northern Ireland, said: “The Law Society are delighted that the Committee for Justice accepted our invitation to hold their meeting at Law Society house.
“This is the second time that the Committee have done so and it reflects the positive engagement and ongoing relationship which the Society has had with the Committee and its members.”
