Cork firm J.W. O’Donovan LLP has relocated to new premises ahead of a planned expansion.

The firm, established in 1931, has moved to new offices at 27 South Mall, designed by Cook Architects to place emphasis on optimising space, light, and adaptability for the firm’s continued growth.

Reflecting on the firm’s long history, managing partner Jerome O’Sullivan said: “Some sectors have flourished in recent years and others have experienced challenges and slowdowns.

“Such peaks and troughs are part of the everyday business environment in which we and each of our clients operate and represent just one of the challenges which the firm has managed to take in its stride for nearly 100 years.

“We have always maintained a strong commercial presence and are fully committed to supporting and growing with our clients into the future.”

He added: “It is a testament to everyone who has contributed to J.W. O’Donovan since 1931 that we stand here today as a leading legal firm, continuing to meet the diverse needs of our clients both locally and internationally.

“We are proud of our history and excited for the future as we expand our presence and capabilities.”

The firm has been shortlisted as a finalist for Best Commercial Business Frontage in Cork’s Better Building Awards, run by the Cork Business Association and sponsored by Cork City Council.
