Killian Dorney rejoins Beale & Co as construction partner in Dublin
Construction lawyer Killian Dorney has rejoined specialist law firm Beale & Co as a partner in the firm’s Dublin office.
Mr Dorney, who worked with the firm earlier in his career, rejoins from A&L Goodbody, where he spent the last year-and-a-half as a construction associate.
He acts for employers, contractors, subcontractors and consultants, as well as their insurers, in relation to all aspects of construction contracts, advising on the full suite of construction project documentation.
Mr Doeney also brings with him significant experience advising on construction related insurance matters and construction disputes, where he is particularly experienced in many forms of alternative dispute resolution including adjudication, mediation, conciliation and domestic and international arbitration.
The firm said his appointment will enable it to further develop and enhance its construction capability in Ireland, the UK and internationally, particularly in relation to its contracts and projects advisory service.
Tara Cosgrove, partner and head of the firm’s Dublin office, said: “We are delighted to welcome Killian back to the firm. His joining cements our commitment to the Irish construction market and to providing a full service construction offering.
“His experience and reputation adds significant weight to our team as specialist domestic and international construction lawyers and we are looking forward to working with him.”
Mr Dorney added: “Having worked with Beale & Co earlier in my career, I am excited to once again be joining the leading international specialist in construction, engineering and infrastructure law.
“I look forward to working with the teams in Ireland, the UK and the Middle East to grow Beale & Co’s domestic and international offering.”
