Lavelle Partners appoints Georgina Lanigan and Dermot McClean as partners

Lavelle Partners LLP has appointed Georgina Lanigan and Dermot McClean as partners in the firm.
Ms Lanigan is head of the firm’s asset and debt recovery team, while Mr McClean is a partner in its litigation and dispute resolution team.
Ms Lanigan has over 10 years’ experience as a court litigation specialist in advising leading financial institutions, credit servicing firms and SMEs on mortgage and commercial litigation, asset recovery and enforcement of security.
She also has extensive expertise in advising clients on regulatory and compliance matters and advising receivers on their appointment.
She qualified as a solicitor in Ireland in 2016 and is also dual qualified to practice in England and Wales.
Mr McClean has specialist expertise in commercial litigation, corporate restructuring and insolvency, acting for a varied array of clients on a number of high-profile disputes.
He has extensive experience in defamation actions, estate disputes, insurance disputes and professional negligence litigation.
He is also well-versed in advising SMEs on their insolvency options, including liquidation and the Small Company Administrative Rescue Process (SCARP).
He completed his professional training with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2017.
