Law Society admits 45 new solicitors at parchment ceremony
The Law Society of Ireland welcomed 45 new solicitors at its parchment ceremony in Blackhall Place last night.

Garda Commissioner Nóirín O’Sullivan, the first woman to hold the post, was invited to speak at the ceremony, where she hailed gender diversity in the legal profession.
Newly-qualified solicitors and their families also heard from Mr Justice Patrick McCarthy of the High Court and the President of the Law Society, Mr Simon Murphy.
