Law Society Gazette wins at Irish Magazine Awards

The cover in question – from the August/September 2017 issue – dealt with the Chinese trade in human organs.

The judges “found the Blood Simple cover of the Law Society Gazette to be very compelling and would encourage readers to pick up the magazine to read the barbaric story of the violations of human rights”.

They added: “The striking cover image, combined with the catchy cover line Blood Simple - the Chinese trade in human organs, and the strong colours makes this Business Media Cover of the Year 2017.”

The annual Irish Magazine Awards are organised by Magazines Ireland, the trade association of magazine publishers.
