The Law Society of Ireland has invited solicitors to take part in a free five-week online course in arts, entertainment and media law.
The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), which is worth 10 CPD points, will begin on Tuesday 7 May and provides an overview of law, business practices and commercial realities for those working and contributing to the arts, entertainment and media industries.
The course features online recorded interviews and streamed presentations, together with interactive discussion forums and quizzes that allow you to engage directly with the Law Society’s expert presenters.
Legal experts contributing to the course include Andrea Martin of Media Lawyer Solicitors; Aideen Burke of LK Shields; music law barrister William Ryan; and solicitor and Government minister Josepha Madigan.
