The anti-homelessness initiative led by barristers and solicitors has raised over €455,000 for the Capuchin Day Centre for Homeless People since 2017, including nearly €38,000 at its Christmas CPD event last year.

Guest speakers at the Easter event will include High Court president Mr Justice David Barniville, High Court judge Mr Justice Alex Owens, Eoin McCullough SC, Shauna Joyce of Bird & Bird, Medb McDonagh BL, Ciara McPhillips of Michael Boylan Litigation, and Alan Martin of Carson McDowell.

The organisers said: “This is now the 15th lecture and to date, we have raised over €450,000, every cent of which has gone direct to the Capuchin Day Centre.

“We hope to hit the half-million jackpot with this, the 15th CPD event.”
