Leading US expert to deliver 2023 Guest Lecture in Employment Law in UCD

UCD will welcome one of the most renowned academics in the area of US Labour Law to deliver a public lecture next week. The lecture is in UCD Sutherland School of Law at 6pm on Monday 24 April. The topic chosen by Professor Matthew Finkin of the University of Illinois promises to be particularly interesting and thought-provoking:
“The Privatization of Justice and the Atomization of the Worker: the U.S Supreme Court’s Love Affair with Employment Arbitration”.
All are welcome to attend the guest lecture but pre-registration is requested (the link is here on Eventbrite).
The lecture further reinforces UCD’s expertise in the area of employment law where a professional diploma in the subject has been offered for many years, Under the direction of well-known Barrister and Academic, Tony Kerr SC, the diploma counts amongst its graduates many of the country’s leading experts in employment law and professionals working in the major unions and workplace and labour organisations.
