LK Shields makes double appointment in Galway

LK Shields has announced the appointment of two new associate solicitors to its recently opened office in Galway.

Cathal Hester and Sharon Pennick both join the firm’s commercial property team just six months after the firm opened its Galway office with a team of five solicitors.

Mr Hester acts for landlords and tenants in the negotiation of new leases and agreements for lease (pre-lets), the assignment/subletting of existing leases and resolution of tenancy disputes.

He has experience in sales and acquisitions of various commercial properties, including retail, office, industrial and development lands.

Meanwhile, Ms Pennick has experience acting in commercial property acquisitions and disposals on behalf of developers and both domestic and international investors including asset management.

She advises on development land and estate planning, including advice on acquisition, planning and environmental matters, access, the legal structure of the estate, transfer of common areas, as well as applications and preparation of the required scheme documents.
