The Lexcel quality mark, originally developed by the Law Society of England and Wales, is granted by the Law Society of Northern Ireland to solicitors and solicitor firms which are independently assessed to be achieving high standards of practice.

Madden & Finucane Solicitors said it is now the largest human rights and criminal defence practice across both Ireland and Northern Ireland to receive the accreditation.

The Law Society of Northern Ireland said firms which invest in Lexcel accreditation are likely to benefit from increased profitability and marketability to prospective clients.
