NI: Man admits pretending to be a solicitor
A 37-year-old man has admitted fraudulently obtaining almost £20,000 by posing as a solicitor.
Kieran Joseph Healey pleaded guilty in Londonderry Magistrates Court to four charges of fraud by false representation as well as possessing articles for use in fraud.
Mr Healey, who is not qualified as a solicitor, admitted possessing court documents and emails for use in connection with fraud.
The court heard he obtained £18,400 through the fraud between September 2011 and August 2014.
Mr Healey has been released on bail and will be sentenced on 27 April.
