Man sleeping rough outside Four Courts has died
A homeless man who was sleeping rough outside the Four Courts has died, The Irish Times reports.
The Lithuanian national was known to support services and had been engaging with rough sleeper outreach teams for a number of years.
According to reports, he was found unresponsive on Monday evening and pronounced dead at the nearby Mater hospital.
He is the second rough sleeper to have died in Dublin this week.
Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy said: “I want to offer his family my condolences. We are treating this with the utmost seriousness and sensitivity and providing them with every assistance that we can.”
