Marie McGinley, Lee Murphy and Gavin O’Flaherty join Eversheds as partners
Three new partners have joined international law firm Eversheds in its expanding Irish corporate and commercial practice.
Marie McGinley has been appointed partner and head of intellectual property, technology and data protection, joining from A&L Goodbody, where she was a senior associate in the IP and technology group.
Lee Murphy also joins from A&L Goodbody, where he was a partner, and Gavin O’Flaherty has joined from Mason Hayes & Curran, where he was a corporate partner for over seven years.
Ms McGinley practises in both contentious and commercial intellectual property/technology matters for a broad range of domestic and international clients, and advises on commercial, regulatory and transactional matters.
Mr Murphy has extensive transactional and advisory experience in respect of both private companies and public limited companies and has particular experience in the renewable energy sector and in infrastructure and PPP projects.
Mr O’Flaherty has substantial experience in acting on corporate, M&A and venture capital transactions, and sectorial expertise across a number of sectors including, in relation to corporate and M&A transactions, in the technology, healthcare and agri-food sectors. He is also a Chartered Tax Adviser from the Irish Taxation Institute.
