Mason Hayes & Curran names David McGovern as head of aviation and asset finance
Business law firm Mason Hayes & Curran has appointed David McGovern as head of its aviation and asset finance practice group.
Mr McGovern brings 20 years’ experience in both private practice and in-house roles to the team across the Irish and international aviation industry.
He succeeds Christine O’Donovan, who remains the firm’s chair, a key member of its aviation finance team and in the leadership of its financial services group.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr McGovern worked for two other international law firms and global aircraft leasing company, SMBC Aviation Capital. He is a graduate of UCD and King’s Inns.
