Mason Hayes & Curran updates FOI sourcebook

Dublin firm Mason Hayes & Curran has published a revised edition of its Freedom of Information Sourcebook, a comprehensive annotated guide to the Freedom of Information Acts in Ireland.

The sourcebook was originally published in 2011 is available for purchase from the firm.

The firm’s public and administrative law team has revised it for the first time since the Freedom of Information Act 2014 was enacted.

“With a 38 per cent increase in FOI requests made to public bodies in 2015 and the Office of the Information Commissioner increasingly focusing on those bodies that do not issue timely decisions, a reference guide such as our sourcebook is an indispensable resource for anyone working in the FOI field.”
