Matheson this week hosted a business breakfast briefing on Brexit on behalf of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.

Michael Jackson, managing partner at Matheson, spoke at the briefing on the legal implications of Brexit and the long-term impacts of the UK’s referendum on EU membership.

There were around 90 senior representatives from the Dublin Chamber at the event, which was chaired by the Chamber’s CEO Gina Quin.

Patrick Coveney, CEO of Greencore, was the keynote speaker and shared his perspective on the implications for business.

He emphasised the impact that such an outcome will have for Ireland in terms of increased costs and reduced revenues for many businesses including Greencore.
