Dublin-based Matheson’s insurance team boasts three ‘Leading Individuals’ in the 2016 Legal 500 directory for EMEA.

Insurance partners Sharon Daly, Darren Maher and April McClements appear on the leading lawyer list, more than for any other Irish law firm.

The firm said it reinforced the group’s consistent ranking as a tier 1 practice.

Matheson also said it is one of few Irish firms to have a dedicated insurance law group (comprising the corporate insurance team and the insurance litigation team), which was established 13 years ago.

Corporate insurance head Darren Maher said: “This recognition demonstrates the strength in depth in the group, and indicates what Matheson can offer compared to other firms.”
