Matheson named Irish tax and transfer pricing firm of the year
Matheson has been named Irish tax firm of the year and Irish transfer pricing firm of the year by the International Tax Review (ITR) for the second year in a row.
The firm won the accolades at the ITR EMEA Tax Awards 2021, widely recognised as one of the benchmarks for excellence in the field of international tax advice. The awards have taken place annually since 2005.
Matheson was chosen from a shortlist of Ireland’s largest law and accounting firms following a comprehensive client and peer research process, indicating outstanding performance in the tax law area over the last 12 months.
John Ryan, chair of Matheson’s tax department, said: “We are delighted to once again be acknowledged as having the leading tax advisory and transfer pricing practices in Ireland, especially by such a prestigious and international publication as the International Tax Review.
“To receive these accolades, and for the second year in a row, is a testament to the hard work undertaken by our excellent team here in Matheson, as well as an endorsement of the innovation shown by our clients.”
Tax partner Mark O’Sullivan added: “It is an honour to be recognised by the International Tax Review for these two awards again this year. They are recognition for the cutting-edge advice we have provided on cross-border transactions and complex transfer pricing issues over the past year, and we are very grateful for the opportunities presented by our clients to us which allow us to work on such deals.”
