Matheson partner awarded prestigious Trinity Praeses Elit
The head of Matheson’s technology and innovation group, Anne-Marie Bohan, has been presented with the Trinity Praeses Elit Award for her work in the field of technology law and innovation in Ireland.
The prestigious TCD Law Society award, founded by former President Mary Robinson, recognises those who have been a source of inspiration to others, particularly young people.
Ms Bohan won this year alongside Sinead McSweeney, managing director of Twitter Ireland; actress and writer Amy Huberman; Cathriona Hallahan, managing director of Microsoft Ireland, and actress, comedian and writer Tara Flynn.
Ms Bohan said: “As an alumnus of Trinity College Law School, I am delighted and honoured to accept such a prestigious award and I would like to thank the members of Trinity College Law Society.”
The lawyer has over 20 years’ experience in technology related legal matters and is a leader in the area of innovation, technology, fintech, asset management and investment funds.
She has lectured on IT, data protection and financial services at the Law Society of Ireland and Maynooth University among others, and has also authored numerous publications on outsourcing contracts, data protection and fintech.
