Matheson is partnering with Finance Dublin and Financial Services Ireland for the 2017 Financial Centres Summit.

As well as sponsoring the event, three of its partners will address delegates at the summit, which examines the business and jurisdictional issues facing cross-border international financial services businesses.

Turlough Galvin, partner and head of tax at Matheson, will be part of a panel discussion headlined: “Out of the shadows: Does non bank finance make the economy more resilient against crashes?”

Shay Lydon, partner in the asset management and investment funds group, will address delegates on topics including the regulatory landscape for investment funds businesses for 2018 and Brexit.

Darren Maher, partner and head of the financial institutions group, will focus on Insurance and Reinsurance and the implications of group regulations for pan European insurance companies post Brexit.

The summit takes place in Dublin Castle next Tuesday 17 October.
