Matheson staff to welcome ABA conference to Dublin
Matheson staff will welcome colleagues from the American Bar Association’s (ABA) employment law section to Dublin this May.
Matheson are one of the key sponsors of the International Midyear Meeting on 7-11 May, which will involve a diverse series of keynotes and panels led by leading international employment law experts.
Matheson partner Bryan Dunne will address conference delegates on the changing employment landscape in Ireland and explore the institutions, laws, policies and practices of Irish employment law.
He will be joined by a panel of leading legal experts including Ms Justice Mary Laffoy, Justice of the Supreme Court of Ireland, and Professor Michael Doherty from Maynooth University.
Mr Dunne has been a member of the ABA’s International Labour and Employment Law section for over 15 years and is a co-author (with Blathnaid Evans of Matheson) of the Irish Chapter for the ABA’s annual publication on International Labour and Employment Law.
Mr Dunne has presented at numerous ABA events in the US and Europe and was the European Chair of the ABA CLE teleconference training programme from 2006 to 2013.
Matheson will also host an evening drinks reception in its Dublin offices conference delegates on Tuesday 9 May.
