Matheson to continue partnership with Irish Museum of Modern Art
Matheson has announced that it will continue its partnership with The Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) for another year.
Having commenced in 2015, the successful relationship between the two organisations will focus on ‘Irish Art at IMMA’ over the course of 2018/19.
The partnership with IMMA will see Matheson proudly support a series of Irish artists and art events over the 12-month period across a range of activities.
Tim Scanlon, chairman at the Matheson Partnership, said: “We are delighted to continue our association with IMMA. At Matheson, we strive to make a meaningful contribution to our community and our relationship with IMMA has helped us to realise this.”
Aoife Flynn, head of audience and development at IMMA, added: “Above all else IMMA is committed to supporting artists’ work, and we are indebted to visionary partners like Matheson who work with us to support the development of contemporary art in Ireland.
“As contemporary visual arts strengthen in Ireland, artists’ work is increasingly recognised on the international stage, as well as making an invaluable contribution to contemporary Irish society. Matheson is the ideal partner to support us in this aim, given their strong Irish roots and their international outlook.”
