Matheson welcomes nine new partners
Nine new partners have been appointed at Matheson, with seven promoted internally and two joining the firm.
Energy and infrastructure lawyer Owen Collins, commercial litigation and dispute resolution lawyer Aishlinn Gannon, private client lawyer Maeve Lochrie, international business group lawyer Seóna O’Donnellan, asset management lawyer Sarah O’Meara, competition and regulation lawyer Simon Shinkwin and finance and capital markets lawyer Lisa Tait have been promoted with effect from 1 January.
Muireann Hernon has joined the firm’s finance and capital markets team as a partner from another large Irish law firm, where she had been a partner since 2022.
The finance and capital markets team will also be joined in January by Gearóid Murphy, who rejoins the firm as a partner from an international law firm in London.
The appointments bring the total number of Matheson partners and tax principals to 125.
