Maynooth University promotes Delia Ferri to law professor

Professor Delia Ferri
Maynooth University has announced the promotion of Delia Ferri to professor in the Department of Law.
Professor Ferri, previously a lecturer, was promoted “in recognition of her significant leadership role in securing prestigious research grants and in her contribution to teaching, engagement and research”.
A former practising attorney in Italy, she lectures primarily in the fields of EU law and international and European disability law. She recently co-authored the first academic textbook on international and European disability law.
She is currently involved in two international projects funded under the Horizon2020 programme, and in December 2019 was awarded a prominent European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator grant of €2 million.
