McCann FitzGerald hosts collection drive for Dress for Success Dublin
McCann FitzGerald is hosting a week-long clothing collection drive in support of Dress for Success Dublin (DFSD) to mark International Women’s Day.
DFSD was founded in 2011 by stylist, designer and tech entrepreneur Sonya Lennon.
The charity, an affiliate of Dress for Success Worldwide, promotes the economic independence of women by offering them clothes, skills and development opportunities.
The collection drive is part of a wider programme of IWD events organised by McCann FitzGerald, which includes a lecture by Mrs Justice Mary Laffoy and a panel discussion featuring Senator Ivana Bacik and Ireland Six Nations Champion Sophie Spence.
A spokesperson for McCann FitzGerald told Irish Legal News: “For the second year in a row we are delighted to support Dress for Success as part of our celebrations for International Women’s Day.
“This involves McCann FitzGerald employees donating professional clothing, jewellery and accessories that can be used by the charity to assist others in their career development.”
The spokesperson added: “We are delighted to support such a worthy cause on this important day.”
