McCann FitzGerald joins UN Global Compact
McCann FitzGerald LLP has become an official participant of the UN Global Compact.
The UN Global Compact is a global initiative for businesses committed to aligning their operations and strategies with the UN’s “Ten Principles” covering human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption.
Through participation in the UN Global Compact, businesses gain valuable guidance to advance their sustainability efforts.
This commitment enhances a business’s reputation, supports the achievement of the sustainable development goals (SDGs), fosters networking opportunities, and drives continuous improvement and accountability.
As part of this initiative, businesses provide an annual ‘communication on progress’ every July to transparently share their advancements.
McCann FitzGerald partner Éamon Ó Cuív said: “McCann FitzGerald is delighted to confirm that it is an official participant of the UN Global Compact.
“This is a further step in our responsible business strategy setting a measurable path forward, enabling impactful growth for our firm and our clients.
“This dedication underscores our unwavering resolve to uphold the highest standards of corporate responsibility and sustainability.
“By aligning our strategies and operations with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, we are not only fostering a better future for our business, but also contributing to a more sustainable and equitable world for all.
“While proud of the progress to date, McCann FitzGerald remains determined to go further. Becoming a participant of the compact also coincides with the launch of our responsible business report.”
The firm says it is committed to reporting on its progress annually, transparently sharing actions and achievements to refine its impact and uphold its commitment to a sustainable and fair future.
