McCann FitzGerald LLP has been named Anti-Discrimination Firm of the Year in Europe at the Legal Benchmarking Group’s Social Impact EMEA Awards 2024.

The awards, which took place last Thursday in London, recognise leading law firms and figures from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for action taken towards building a more diverse and inclusive legal profession and broader social impact.

In addition to the award, McCann FitzGerald was also shortlisted for its work in ethnic minority advocacy.

Managing partner Stephen Holst said: “Creating a collaborative and inclusive environment to empower our people to achieve their goals and assist them in their development is one of our key priorities. We serve our clients best as a team which brings different perspectives and experiences to the table and we aim to celebrate and encourage diversity in all its forms.

“I am very proud of the work of our people collectively in achieving this important recognition. Inclusivity is not achieved through one off initiatives and is something we need to live, breathe and embed in our culture in how we work every day. As a firm we are committed to maintaining our focus on inclusion and advocacy, to support a fairer society and more equal opportunities for all.”
