McCullagh Wall Solicitors co-hosts Cork seminar on business innovation

McCullagh Wall Solicitors (MCW) and PurdyLucey Intellectual Property recently hosted an afternoon seminar in Cork on “Innovation in Business – Creation and Commercialisation of Intellectual Property”.

Ger O’Mahony, director of the Action Point Technology Group, chaired the event, while expert speakers - including Adrian Wall from MCW, Michael Lucey from PurdyLucey and Adrian Dunne from EY - shared thoughts on creating, managing and exploiting intellectual property, along with an overview of the current tax credit landscape.

The seminar also heard from innovation coach Jay Chopra and Professor Patrick Fitzpatrick of University College Cork on innovation and the Horizon 20/20 SME Instrument.

Delegates also heard from Brendan O’Regan, chair of Zenith Technologies; Jerry O’Brien, CEO of Radisens Diagnostics; Frank Walsh, partner at Enterprise Equity; and Declan O’Mahoney, entrepreneur-in-residence at the Tyndall Institute.
