McEnroe Solicitors appoints two new partners
McEnroe Solicitors in Co Sligo has announced the appointment of Noelle Galvan and Melvin Smyth as partners.
Ms Galvan trained and qualified in McCann Fitzgerald Solicitors and worked in the Commercial Property department there before moving back to her home town of Sligo in 2005.She has considerable experience in commercial law and corporate compliance, all types of property transactions both residential and commercial and landlord and tenant law.
Ms Galvan acted for a number of banks in commercial property acquisitions and disposals, advising on issues of security and corporate compliance. She is also a member of the legal panel for Mental Health Tribunals.
Mr Smyth, who qualified in 1999, is an experienced property and litigation solicitor with a keen interest in all aspects of property law and vast experience in litigation at District, Circuit and High Court level.
He also has considerable experience in family law and a keen interest in employment law, and has acted for both employers and employees in actions under employment legislation in the Employment Appeals Tribunal, Labour Relations Commission and Equality Tribunal.
