Millar McCall Wylie partners with Down’s syndrome charity
Northern Ireland firm Millar McCall Wylie has named Down’s Syndrome Association NI as its official charity partner for 2024.
The firm has made a commitment to support local charities and community groups on an ongoing basis and for the second year running has selected an official partner to benefit from its fundraising efforts.
Down’s Syndrome Association NI supports people who have Down’s syndrome, as well as their parents and carers, throughout their lives, from before birth into older age.
Emma Rooney, chair of the firm’s charity committee, said: “This is a cause close to the hearts of many of our team here at Millar McCall Wylie. We are very proud to be supporting Down’s Syndrome Association NI this year and already have our fundraising team working on some brilliant events and challenges to raise as much money and visibility as possible for the charity.
“Supporting organisations that play a vital role in local communities is so important to us. A big part of our company ethos is about promoting inclusivity and diversity and I believe this will be a brilliant partnership that we look forward to championing.”
Donna Lynch of Down’s Syndrome Association NI added: “Funding is so crucial for us to be able to deliver our services so corporate partnerships like this with Millar McCall Wylie are very valuable. It will also help us promote the work that our small team carries out here for people with Down’s syndrome and their families.
“Not only will we benefit from Millar McCall Wylie’s support, we also look forward to introducing their fundraising team to some of the people we support here in Northern Ireland, an experience we believe will be very enriching for all involved.”
