NI: MKB Law raises over £900 in Cave Hill dawn walk

A five-person team from Belfast firm MKB Law raised over £900 through a night-into-dawn walk up Belfast’s Cave Hill.
Director Ann Marie Kelly, finance and operations director Arie van Limpt, legal secretary Damian Keenan, trainee solicitor Lynsey Henderson and marketing executive Kym Horner commenced the 4.5-mile walk shortly after 2am.
The team raised £920 in support of their efforts, bringing the firm’s fundraising total this year for charity partner Action Mental Health to over £1,400.
Ms Horner, writing on the MKB Law blog, said: “We all had a thoroughly exhilarating experience and were more than happy to forgo one night’s sleep in order to raise funds for Action Mental Health.
“The event also highlighted the importance of taking care of our own mental health – that simple things such as walking, stunning natural scenery and taking a ‘time-out’ from our everyday activities, can make a positive difference to us all!”
The firm is continuing to welcome donations through JustGiving.
