The forthcoming event was officially launched by representatives from MKB Law as well as the Lord Mayor of Belfast, co-ordinators, partners and other sponsors in the Titanic Quarter of the city.

Beth Kennedy, a legal secretary at the firm, is one of the co-ordinators of the event, which has never come to the island of Ireland and has only come to the UK once - London in 2012.

It is expected that 5,000 Vespa owners from up to 40 different countries will visit Belfast for the four-day event, bringing in approximately £7.7 million of additional revenue to the local economy.

The event will be sponsored by MKB Law and supported by Belfast City Council, Visit Belfast and Titanic Belfast. Air Ambulance NI and the East Belfast Mission are nominated charities.
