NI: MKB Law to merge with debt recovery specialists McAlinden Solicitors
Belfast firm MKB Law is set to grow through a merger with debt recovery specialists McAlinden Solicitors.
The merger, announced this morning, is part of the firm’s ongoing expansion strategy, which has already seen the recent appointment of commercial litigation lawyer Steven Keenan and legal executive Phoungwattey Kemnay.
McAlinden Solicitors, headed by David McAlinden, bring with them over 20 years experience in the specialist areas of debt recovery, personal and corporate insolvency. David and his team have established close links with both the Association of Credit Professionals and the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.
As of today, Mr McAlinden joins MKB Law as a director and brings with him his four-person legal support team.
Gordon McElroy, director of MKB Law, said: “We are pleased to welcome David and his team to MKB Law in what is a natural coming together of two like-minded businesses. The combined strengths of both teams will enable MKB Law to expand our portfolio of legal services in order to support our client’s interests.”
Mr McAlinden added: “McAlinden Solicitors have always believed in continued growth; and the time is now right to take that to the next stage by joining forces with MKB Law.
“The move will ultimately provide us with the ideal platform to extend our legal services to a vast range of clients and sectors.
“MKB Law have an enviable position within the legal sector; offering a full spectrum of services backed by professionalism and commitment to client care - and we are delighted to be part of that team.”
