NI: Mr Justice Colton launches new book on road traffic offences

Mr Justice Adrian Colton helped to launch Stephen Fitzpatrick’s new book, Road Traffic Offences of Northern Ireland, at the Law Society’s headquarters.
Over 60 members of the legal profession, including members of the judiciary, attended the launch.
The new book outlines the main road traffic offences in the jurisdiction and sets out the elements the prosecution must prove, possible defences both specific to the offence and in general, and the range of sentences available to the court.
The text sets out the relevant legislation and includes references to both reported and unreported Northern Ireland cases.
