New Drogheda courthouse to open in the next month

The new courthouse in Drogheda will complete construction in either April or May, Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald has said.
The new building has been constructed as part of the Public Private Partnership bundle of seven courthouses in various locations nationwide.
The new courthouse is a two courtroom venue which will facilitate both Circuit and District Court business.
Ms Fitzgerald said: “Delivery of this courthouse is expected in April/May 2017 and, once available, it should address any capacity concerns.”
