Callan Tansey Solicitors has announced the appointment of Niamh Ni Mhurchú and David O’Malley as joint managing partners with effect from January.
Ms Ni Mhurchú continues for a second term as managing partner, while Mr O’Malley succeeds John Kelly, who was joint managing partner for eight years.
Writing on LinkedIn, Ms Ni Mhurchú said she was “honoured and humbled to continue as joint managing partner of Callan Tansey for a second term and delighted to share the office with my good friend and colleague David O’Malley”.
She added: “David brings immense energy and enthusiasm to the role and together we will build on the work of all previous managing partners: Chris Callan, Brian Gill, Roger Murray SC and John Kelly.”
Headquartered in Sligo, Callan Tansey has offices in Boyle, Dublin, Ballina, Galway and Limerick.
