Belfast solicitor Norman Nesbitt, formerly of Nesbitt Solicitors, has passed away.
Mr Nesbitt has practised as a solicitor for over six decades after opening his firm, first known as J Norman Nesbitt, in east Belfast in 1954.
In 1982, he was joined by his son Maurice and continued practising as Nesbitt Solicitors, opening a new office on Cregagh Road in 2005.
The Law Society of Northern Ireland confirmed that Mr Nesbitt passed away on Wednesday.
His funeral will take place at First Bangor Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Bangor on Monday 11 February, 3pm.
