Belfast firm O’Reilly Stewart has named NI Hospice as its charity partner for 2025.
The firm will take part in fundraising initiatives throughout the year, including a number of relay teams taking part in the Belfast Marathon, an Easter bonnet competition, an annual Christmas tree decorating competition as well as staff volunteering at the hospice garden.
Managing director Stuart Gilmore said: “O’Reilly Stewart is deeply committed to giving back to our community, and this partnership allows us to support the incredible work provided by hospice professionals who bring comfort, dignity, and peace to individuals and families during challenging times.
“Through this collaboration, we will be actively working together to raise awareness, provide resources, and contribute to the well-being of those in need. It is a real scandal that hospice care is not properly funded by government, and we wanted to do our own small bit to assist.
“So many of us in the firm have had our lives touched by cancer and have seen first-hand the incredible work that NI Hospice provides.”
Following a visit to O’Reilly Stewart offices, Jessica Steele from NI Hospice said: “We are delighted to have O’Reilly Stewart Solicitors join us as a charity of the year partner.
“Their enthusiasm and creativity are truly inspiring, and it is clear they are eager to make a meaningful impact in the local community.
“We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to helping us care for local families when they need it most.”
