Paul Tweed to open doors of new boutique law firm in London, Dublin and Belfast
Belfast lawyer Paul Tweed is set to open his new boutique law firm TWEED this Friday.
TWEED will have offices in London, Dublin and Belfast, offering a full UK and Ireland service for media law and commercial litigation matters.
Mr Tweed will head up a team of media, data and new technology lawyers, providing expertise in dealing with the issues relevant in today’s world of instant communication.
Mr Tweed told Irish Legal News: “New firm, new challenge. I will be offering a specialised multi-jurisdictional service with a view to expanding my existing international client base.”
There were reports last month that Mr Tweed was planning to leave Johnsons Solicitors to set up a practice focused on defamation actions on behalf of north African and Middle Eastern clients.
He told The Times in late July: “I’ll be concentrating on rapidly expanding work that I’ve been getting from north Africa and the Middle East and I’ll be conducting that litigation in both Dublin and London.”
