Philip Lee appoints Finola Igoe as senior associate in construction team
Philip Lee LLP has announced the appointment of Finola Igoe as a senior associate in the firm’s projects and construction group.
Ms Igoe has more than 12 years’ experience as a solicitor and advises in both contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
Her non-contentious experience includes drafting and negotiating bespoke building contracts, development agreements, professional appointments, sub-contracts and collateral warranties, acting for employers, contractors and design team members.
Her work has included advising developers of large student accommodation projects and approved housing bodies (AHBs) responsible for social and affordable housing schemes on all necessary construction contracts and meeting all funder requirements. She also has experience of advising funders of large residential schemes.
On the contentious side, Ms Igoe has experience of conciliation, mediation and arbitration, including ICC Arbitration. She also has broader litigation experience before the High Court and Commercial Court, including judicial review proceedings and planning injunction proceedings.
