At least 730 Palestinians have been killed since Israel resumed military operations in Gaza on Tuesday, according to the Gaza health ministry.

That brings the official Palestinian death toll in this war to over 50,000 — more than two per cent of the pre-war population of the Gaza Strip.

Irish Lawyers for Palestine said tonight’s event is a “strategy meeting” which will consider how campaigners respond to the resumption of fighting.

The activist group was founded in early 2024 and its banner has been visible at many of the Palestine solidarity demonstrations which have taken place in Dublin since then.
