NI: Probation Board opens new Downpatrick office
The Probation Board for Northern Ireland (PBNI) has opened a new office in Downpatrick, where it shares the same building as the Youth Justice Agency (YJA).
The office on English Street is now home to a probation officer and a psychologist who cover the wider Downpatrick area.
The PBNI held a networking event to mark the opening of its new office.
A spokesperson for the PBNI told Irish Legal News: “The event was a great opportunity for partner agencies, organisations and businesses to meet with PBNI staff and each other to build on already good working relationships. It also shows how justice sector agencies are working closer together to deliver a more effective and coordinated service.”
