Professor Aoife Nolan elected to European Committee of Social Rights
Professor Aoife Nolan of the University of Nottingham has been elected to the European Committee of Social Rights.
Professor Nolan, who graduated with an LLB from Trinity College Dublin in 2000 and lectured in law at Queen’s University Belfast from 2006-10, was congratulated by the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the Council of Europe.
She told Irish Legal News: “It is an honour to have been elected to the Committee – the key European monitoring mechanism on economic and social rights. I look forward immensely to contributing to the Committee’s work over the coming years.”
