Reddy Charlton merges with Simon McAleese Solicitors
Dublin firms Reddy Charlton LLP and Simon McAleese Solicitors LLP have announced a merger.
The merger follows the recent appointment of Simon McAleese as a judge of the Circuit Court.
Ciarán Maguire joins Reddy Charlton as a partner in the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution team as part of the merger and the winding down of Simon McAleese LLP.
Mr Maguire’s main practice areas are commercial litigation and media law. He has extensive experience advising Ireland’s leading newspaper publishers, film and television production companies, and broadcasters.
He provided pre-broadcast advice on the 2022 BAFTA and Royal Television Society award winning documentary The Missing Children and acts as production lawyer for numerous domestic and international productions including Beat Shazam (hosted by Jamie Foxx), Name That Tune (hosted by Jane Krakowski), and Ireland’s Fittest Family.
In a statement, Reddy Charlton said: “We aim to provide a comprehensive range of legal services and expand our areas of expertise to match the needs of our clients. We have no doubt that the incorporation of such a successful and highly-regarded practice will help us achieve that objective.”
