Richard Grogan’s law firm to close doors
Dublin firm Richard Grogan & Associates is to close after its namesake passed away late last year.
Richard Grogan, a well-known employment lawyer and regular contributor to Irish Legal News, passed away in November 2022 after a period of illness.
Caoimhe McConnell, who headed the firm’s personal injuries litigation team, confirmed to The Irish Times yesterday that the practice is being wound down, describing it as “the end of an era”.
David O’Riordan, partner and head of employment law at Sherwin O’Riordan Solicitors, has been appointed as practice manager “for the purposes of winding down the practice”, according to a statement.
Ms McConnell has joined Sherwin O’Riordan Solicitors as a partner “and has brought her client following with her”, it added.
