Ryanair to sue Irish Independent in the High Court

Ryanair has launched proceedings against the Irish Independent and journalist John Mulligan in the High Court, the Irish Independent reports.
The proceedings relate to the daily newspaper’s coverage of the Ryanair flight cancellation scandal.
Mr Mulligan is a business journalist for the newspaper and has reported extensively on pay talks between the airline and its pilots.
The airline said it will not comment on ongoing legal proceedings.
